Indianapolis should have a Embraer heavy maintenance facility to support Republic’s fleet of 300+ aircraft.
This facility would complement Republic’s new training headquarters in Carmel. It could also attract Embraer engine manufacturers Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, & Honeywell.
While AAR Indianapolis supports Airframe MRO
(maintenance, repair, and overhaul) for Embraer ERJ-135 / ERJ-145 and E170 / E175 / E190, they do not provide Component Services or Repair/Engineering for aircraft interiors or exterior painting locally.
Eagle Creek Avaition is only certified for BASE & Line Maintenance for Phenom 100, Phenom 300.
