      But it’s amazing how many boomers don’t feel they owe a debt to the past generations who enabled them to get college educated at an affordable price… and don’t feel like they should pay it forward to future generations.

  1. Yeah, lets cut the IRS so millionaires can get away with billions cheating on their taxes but lets tighten the screws on student loans as low and middle class young people try to establish their tax paying careers.

    1. greg, do you think you can get away for 5 years without making a house payment or a car payment? do you think these people didn’t know they were going to have to repay this?

    2. Rhea, quite a few FHA loan home buyers who bought just before/during COVID haven’t made housing payments for almost 5 years. Look it up. The government deferred mortgage payments, and real estate appreciated so quickly they’re actually way ahead and lived for “free” on tax payers $$$. It’s wild.
