  1. “In Kokomo, Hunter argues that what Fain wants is reasonable because workers gave up so much to keep the companies afloat in 2009” – I’m sorry but you can’t look at the past and leverage the financial disaster to get what you want. My Dad was forced to retire from the GM during that time and we guy up in Kokomo. He lost half of his retirement and won’t see a dime even after the lawsuits. If a product requires 40% less people to produce what do you think is going to happen?… It doesn’t take rocket science to figure it out. The UAW rhetoric sounds like a politician playing games… setting the stage to let someone down. Don’t be that someone. Leverage your skills, take classes, get certifications, and make yourself more valuable in the growing EV industry.

    1. As usual, there is more to story in these comments. No UAW hourly worker has ever been forced to retire or ever retire with only half of their pension. A GM and or Delphi Salary worker who are/were not represented by the UAW perhaps, but no UAW represented hourly workers.
