  1. Maybe they can mind their own business and keep their noses out of Indiana! The problem with today is too many outside groups feel they need to push their agendas on to everyone else.

  2. Tell me how having a state where 40% of the population voted for a political party should have no representation is considered democratic. Indiana would become the most gerrymandered state in the country. And those of you have been told it is to offset democratic states who have gerrymandered, then why are 8 of the top 10 most gerrymandered states Republican?

    1. Look, Republicans can draw the lines however they want when they draw the lines. Them’s the breaks for Democrats. But they should just be clear, Bray and Hutson and the rest are no longer in charge at the Indiana Legislature. They’re just pawns of what the national GOP tells them to do. That is who they represent and answer to, not Indiana voters or Indiana citizens.

      Everything they said about keeping communities of interest together and all that when they drew lines just 4 years ago? That credibility is gone, forever, and Republicans will never get it back. They can try to justify their actions all day and pretend like they weren’t the ones who started this redistricting nonsense as they issue their statements written for them by the national GOP and enjoy counting the campaign contributions to help drown out that nagging conscience in their head, but it’s futile. When faced with a situation that called for courage, they folded like a chair. They didn’t even have the guts to go out fighting and expose the bullies for what they are. That failure will be their legacy and what their kids, grandkids, neighbors, and friends will remember about them.
