Thieves have stolen copper coils and wires from the heating and cooling system at Forest Manor Multi-Service Center, leaving thousands of dollars in damage at the east-side Indianapolis social-services group’s headquarters. Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis says investigators haven't been able to identify the powder-like substance that sickened seven people Thursday and temporarily closed its emergency room. CEO Jeff Sperring said Friday that all hospital operations have returned to normal and that no evidence has been found of any spread of the illness that affected people in the emergency room. Sperring says four of the adults have been treated and released and the other three were being treated at a nearby hospital.
