DB Klain Construction has started construction of a 1,500-square-foot addition/renovation of the Carmel Dad’s Club corporate offices at 5459 E. Main St., Carmel.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity increased 15.5 percent for the week ended March 4, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. The rate for 30-year mortgages increased to 4.93 percent from 4.84 percent the previous week. The rate for 15-year mortgages was unchanged at 4.17 percent.
