Man shot in overnight robbery attempt-WEB ONLY

A man is recovering from multiple gunshot wounds following an overnight robbery attempt. The victim was shot in the back and the side about 2 a.m. in the 3900 block of North Shadeland Avenue near Pendleton Pike. The man was alert and talking when medics took him to Wishard Hospital.
