Newly paved roads in Indiana communities might look bare this summer as a nationwide shortage of road paint prevents public

of a paint additive known as methyl methacrylate, which makes road paint brighter, and from increased demand for markings
because of projects funded by the federal economic stimulus program. In some cases, communities are being told it could take
up to 14 weeks to get the paint.
Bargersville police officer Zach Elliott has been suspended after Trafalgar investigators arrested him for allegedly driving
an all-terrain vehicle while intoxicated on his father-in-law’s property Saturday afternoon. Elliott, who failed a field
sobriety test, reportedly told police that he drank six or seven beers before driving the ATV down a ravine and flipping it.
John Adams, a passenger, was pinned under the upturned vehicle and suffered a broken hip. Bargersville authorities will consider
