Chuck Goodrich started with Gaylor as an intern in 1991 and returned to the company in 1996, where he “worked in every position in the organization, pretty much” before being named president in 2014 and president/CEO in 2018.
In total, 29 executives—including six CEOs of the Year—will be honored at a 5 p.m. event on Dec. 2 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Tickets are still available.

Gaylor Workforce Development Coordinator Amy Perlich said the company’s internship program teaches students everything from how to introduce themselves to employees and customers to how to bend conduit, pull wire and build electrical boxes.
In Indianapolis, students will be working with a construction company while they attend classes. Companies will assign students a mentor and will move them on-site, once they are ready.
