    1. Actually, an older apartment building on the east end of the property is being demolished.

    1. Huh? Occupancy from 2019-2020 is up 2.6% and hanging in the mid-90% range, even with the pandemic and new units that have come online.

  1. There’s also a variance for a curb cut along the street where the mixed-use zoning district requires it to be from the alley, if available, which it is. Additionally, there is a variance to allow the proposed curb cut on Market Street to be 30′ wide, where the maximum width allowable is 24′.

    Here is a link to the staff report, where the City recommends approval of said curb cut so long as the developer builds a pedestrian refuge area between the entering and exiting sides of the driveway:
