The Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau can direct you to no fewer than 16 hometown havens that participated in a recent Pizza Playoffs promotion.
The local establishments range from uber-Italian to (apparently) glamorous, but the homespun Amo Pizza Shop ultimately triumphed.
The pizza shop, which is located in the back of the Amo General Store, beat out Rock Star Pizza of Brownsburg with 50.9 percent of 22,743 votes.
