Southwest adds nonstop flight from Indy to Dallas

Southwest Airlines on Thursday announced the addition of nonstop flights to Dallas from 10 cities, including Indianapolis.

The flights from Indianapolis International Airport to Dallas Love Field will begin in April with promotional one-way tickets priced as low as $69 prior to fees and taxes.

Dallas-based Southwest also added nonstop flights from Love Field to Milwaukee; Portland; Seattle/Tacoma; Memphis; Columbus, Ohio; Panama City Beach; Charleston, South Carolina; and Sacramento and San Jose, California.

Thursday's announcement was the second from Southwest involving nonstop flights in the past two months. In mid-December, the airline said it would add nonstop service from Indianapolis to Boston and to Los Angeles.
