Dr. Sweta Tandra, a gastroenterologist, has joined St. Vincent Medical Group in Carmel. She received her medical degree from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Karnataka, India.
Indianapolis-based Anthem Inc. named Michael Malouf president of its dental benefits business, which includes nearly 9 million customers. Malouf was previously CEO of Dearborn National Insurance Co., the dental subsidiary of Illinois-based Health Care Service Corp., which, like Anthem, also controls numerous Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance plans. Malouf will work out of Anthem's office near Minneapolis.
