In addition to examining what the Amish ARE exposed to, researchers should examine what they ARE NOT exposed to (e.g., mainstream food supply, vaccines, etc.)
Why would they do that. There’s no evidence that these things have any link to allergies.

There are thousands of “everyday” chemicals in the food and personal products (soap, shampoo, body wash, etc.) used by most urban and suburban households. And microplastics.
Right on the money. This article should be front page news everywhere, and any thinking person should be wondering why it is that the people who are living without the “wonders” of modern medicine, food, and technology are in fact healthier.

Michael, not claiming any “conspiracy”. Only that there are lots of unstudied chemicals that urban and suburban people are in contact with daily.
Only a fool would suggest without proof that none of them could possibly cause inflammation or immune system reaction.
And Amish people eat plenty of meat and dairy. They’re largely farmers who raise cows and pigs and chickens just like my German great-grandparents did back in the day. In fact, it’s Amish people farming my family’s old farmland behind horses and mules, same as my great-grandfather grew up doing.
