Kainos Group Plc, a Belfast, Northern Ireland-based digital services company that opened an office in Indianapolis in October, plans to add 133 employees by the end of 2024, it announced Thursday.

The company said was investing more than $800,000 to lease and equip office space in the downtown’s Circle Tower, 55 Monument Circle.

“Kainos is growing at a significant rate in North America, and we are excited to establish Indianapolis as one of our major hubs to support our expansion efforts,” said Mike Hitch, the company’s vice president of testing services for North America. “As a global technology company, we chose Indianapolis due to the city’s access to talent with its abundance of local colleges and universities; in addition, it maintains some of best cost of living opportunities within the U.S.”

The company said it plans to grow and enhance its dedicated Workday Practice. Workday is a leading leading suite of applications in finance, human resources and business planning.

Kainos also plans to recruit and develop local talent to work supporting the growth of Kainos Smart, its automated testing platform designed for Workday.

The company has already added 10 employees in Indianapolis and said it is hiring for individuals with experience in data, product, design and engineering.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Kainos up to $3.3 million in conditional tax credits based on the job-creation plans. The city of Indianapolis will consider additional incentives.

Established in 1986, Kainos has more than 450 customers. It employs more than 1,700 people across 15 offices in the United States, Canada and Europe.

The company has experienced revenue and employment growth for 10 straight years. It reported revenue of $225 million and a profit of $29 million in its latest fiscal year.
