  1. People are getting what they’ve voted for … of course, they were also told by Trump that Project 2025 wasn’t his action plan.

    Which puts paid the claim that 52% of people voted for any of this … Guess the libs were right after all, huh?

    1. All the Democrats have to do is vote to pass this clean continuing resolution. Just like the Republicans did 13 times under Joe Biden to keep the government open.

    2. You’ve already forgotten what happened back on those days, haven’t you? Both sides negotiated. Both sides got some of what they wanted but not everything. Heck, both sides showed up for work. Republicans won’t even do that. So spare me it’s the Democrats fault and Republicans are blameless. Republicans are the leaders of Congress, why are they suddenly so impotent and helpless?

      They knew full well the bill would have to either start in the Senate or they’d have to negotiate. They’re doing neither. They very much enjoy the shutdown and could care less if people go without paychecks. They got their tax cuts passed.
