  1. And while we’re at it…dump 2/3 of county commissioners and elect a single county executive.

    Consider eliminating county coroners in favor of certified medical examiners hired by the county executive. Likewise with county surveyors, recorders, and tax assessors. Hiring credentialed professionals is better than electing politicians to those roles.

    1. Yes, a single county executive would be a much better system than the current three-headed monster – 3 commissioners.
