  1. Republican legislators know the power of the party’s label as a means to get low-information voters to cast a straight party line. Heaven forbid voters should inform themselves before casting their ballots. It just shows how cynical the GOP legislators really are about education in Indiana.

    1. Would you say the same about the people running for school board in Marion county then? They’re going for that straight ticket vote for democrats.

    2. Rea, you’re confusing legislators with school board members.

      As I said when this was proposed, if you don’t know who vote for without a party label, you shouldn’t cast a ballot. All ballots should be shorn of party labels.

    3. Joe, my response was in response to Brent’s who said the Republicans are looking for low information straight party voters who only want to vote for republicans. Why didn’t you call out Brent for saying the exact same thing I did?
