Indiana Farm Bureau
Insurance

An Indiana-based insurance and financial services provider

Flexible
working arrangements

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance offers a variety of flexible working arrangements, including flex
time, telecommuting and a compressed work week. The availability of these programs is dependent upon
the employee’s job duties.

Family-friendly benefits

•A cafeteria plan offers three medical plans, including an option for a health savings account, flexible spending accounts
for both medical and dependent-care expenses, and dental and vision plans.

•The company also offers paid life insurance, as well as optional coverage for employees,
spouses and children. In addition, it offers employees paid long-term-disability insurance, with optional
additional coverage and a long-term-care plan.

•Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance sponsors a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions,
which is available to employees within the first 60 days of employment. Additionally, it makes annual
defined contributions to the 401(k) plan for eligible employees based on service and age.

•The company offers paid time off, paid
holidays and bereavement leave based on years of service. Farm Bureau also allows first-year employees
who are ineligible for family medical leave or short-term disability up to 30 days of leave time with
appropriate documentation.

•Seven scholarships are awarded annually to children and grandchildren of Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance employees and
retirees. The scholarships are available for children pursuing higher education.

•Assistance is available to current employees
who transfer to a new location or new hires who relocate to become employees. This includes payment of
real estate fees and moving expenses.

•A confidential employee-assistance program is offered to employees and dependents. This program offers a
variety of services, including individual counseling, financial and legal assistance, child-care research, elder-care options
and other services.

Female
friendliness

are women.

•A dedicated,
private lactation room is offered for nursing mothers in Farm Bureau’s home office.

•The company supports the the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the annual Go Red for
Women Campaign through the American Heart Association.
