The Save Act will not disenfranchise anyone from voting.
It only requires a Passport or a birth certificate to register to vote.
Then a piece ID to vote.
The vast majority of Americans do support the Save Act.
Dems are always on the wrong side on voting issues. A typical 80/20 with the Dems on the 20 side.
Example : The Georgia voting law changes did not discriminate against anyone. In fact black voters voted in record numbers and percentages.
Yet Dems were screaming Jim Crow 2.0. The Dems could not find one person that was disenfranchised from voting.
Kansas passed a law in 2011 requiring proof of citizenship. Nearly 31,000 people were unable to vote, or about 12% of the population. The law was finally struck down by a judge in 2018.
That sure sounds like somebody not being able to vote because they were unable to provide proof of citizenship.
By the way, Indiana is one of 38 states that has not implemented the Real ID system in such a way that it counts as proof of citizenship, and only 37% of Hoosiers have a passport. It should be easy to see that the SAVE act is going to be a disaster for most Hoosier voters.

Certificate to register to vote is a 80/20 issue.
Voter ID is required at polling stations is not unreasonable. An 85/15issue also.
You need proof of ID for many things to function in our modern society.
Last, You mentioned that a judge ruled against the Kansas voting law in 2011. I don’t know anything about the
Kansas law, so I can not speak to that.
I do NOT agree with nationalizing election rules and laws. That clearly should be left to the states.
But remember, the Dems wanted nationalized election rules and laws before Trumps election.
We had massive illegal imigration during the Biden Administration. In fact many Dems are pushing for migrants to vote. And in some jurisdictions migrants are voting in local elections.

Remember, unarmed doesn’t mean the victims were not fighting or resisting the police. In the vast majority of cases had the victims cooperated with the police they would still be alive & well.

Inferring from several the comments here, I’m not sure some people are aware why DHS is not being funded. The sticking point on the budget is that those “libs” want ICE to operate like normal law enforcement officers. They want them to operate with body cameras. They want them to follow constitutional rules when deciding who to arrest. These are simple rules like having constitutional probable cause and having a warrant from the judicial branch of government before you break down doors and snatch people. I think the biggest sticking point is that these officers shouldn’t be allowed to operate like secret police with cobbled together uniforms, no identifying markings, and not allowed to operate.
I’m sorry, the irony of deploying Trump‘s private militia to replace TSA agents is hilarious. If anything, it will create more chaos in the airports, and I believe more Americans who understand the constitution will stand up and oppose this growing fascism.
