Wow, I would like to think the comments on IBJ articles wouldn’t resemble more mainstream platforms, but I guess I would be wrong.
Sure, and some of us remember who won the last Indiana Classic too. That team from Terre Haute would have drilled Indiana by 20 this season too.
Indiana fans enjoy living in the past because it’s easier than accepting their program is no longer nationally relevant and hasn’t been for a couple decades now. And it’s more fun to take shots at their rival who, deep down, has the program and coach and players they wish they had.
Heck, Purdue’s got an actual roster and recruiting class for next season. IU’s got two hands worth of scholarships for a reason – no one wants to play there any more.
