      People that think the WNBA players are not treated fairly or compensated fairly don’t understand that the league has never turned a profit. It is subsidized by the NBA.

      I heard that player compensation will be tied closely to league revenues.
      Of course the biggest driver will be television revenues. Which is growing.
      Merchandising has increased also which is a good thing also.

  1. I hope that someday WNBA players can earn 5 or 10 million dollars. But when they talk “Revenue” they are not talking profits. Very big difference and one that is really unsustainable without the benevolent assistance of the NBA sugar daddies. There are really only a few big names drawing interest in the league. We all know who they are.
