The Crossroads Project

It’s tough to recall another project whose development involved a string quartet, a visual artist and a physicist. But that’s the case with “The Crossroads Project,” being presented by the IUPUI Arts & Humanities Institute. A combination of science and performance, it’s the brainchild of composer Laura Kaminsky and painter Rebecca Allen and consists of soliloquies, music and projected visuals. A.J. Foyt exhibit

A field of about 36 cars will be in position at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but this isn’t your standard Indy 500 lineup. In this case, all of the cars were driven by racing legend A.J. Foyt.
