Hotel damaged by fire

October 19, 2012

A fire caused about $40,000 in damage to a hotel Thursday night on the far-east side of Indianapolis. The blaze broke out at about 11:30 p.m. in a laundry room at Country Hearth Inn in the 8800 block of East 21st Street, near North Post Road. Three people staying in the section of the building where the fire broke out escaped without injury.
