More ‘Michigan lefts’ slated for Fishers

April 1, 2013

Fishers officials will open two new median U-turns—otherwise known as “Michigan lefts”—at 7 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 96th Street and Allisonville Road. The two new maneuvers will affect drivers traveling west on 96th Street who want to go south on Allisonville, and drivers traveling north on Allisonville who want to go west on 96th Street. Monday’s dual debut will complete the second phase of a revamp to the traffic flow at the busy intersection. The final phase and pavement work are expected to be complete in late May.

-Kittles Home Furnishings leased 30,059 square feet at Raceway Plaza, 10695 E. U.S. 36, Avon. The tenant was represented by Mark Perlstein of Sitehawk Retail Real Estate. The landlord, Raceway Nine, was represented by Larry Davis and Tom English of Sitehawk Retail Real Estate.

-Natural Stone & Tile leased 17,330 square feet of industrial space at 8875 Bash St. The tenant was represented by Michael Napariu of REI Investments. The landlord, Westminster Funds, was represented by Todd Vannatta and Bryan Miller of Cassidy Turley.

-Johnson, Grossnickle + Associates Inc. leased 6,083 square feet of office space at 21-63 S. Park Blvd., Greenwood. The tenant was represented by John Crisp and Spud Dick of Cassidy Turley. The landlord, South Park Group LLC, was represented by Brian Dell of Summit Realty Group.

-Artisanz Fabrication & Machine Co. leased 5,000 square feet of industrial space at 2198 Reeves Road, Plainfield. The landlord, Damon Jones, was represented by Patrick Lindley of Cassidy Turley. The tenant represented itself.

-International Center of Indianapolis leased 4,640 square feet of office space at One Indiana Square at Ohio and Pennsylvania streets. The tenant was represented by Spud Dick and John Crisp of Cassidy Turley. The landlords, Michael Maurer and Todd Maurer, were represented by Ralph Balber of Newmark Knight Frank Halakar.

-Turning Point Dental leased 4,545 square feet at Five River Crossing, 8555 N. River Road. The tenant was represented by Mark Perlstein of Sitehawk Retail Real Estate. The landlord, River Crossing Five LLC, was represented by Barb Zike of PK Partners.

-Spectrum Financial Group LLC leased 4,003 square feet at 9000 Keystone Crossing. The tenant was represented by Jack Esselman of J. F. Esselman Inc. The landlord, Philadelphia-based Equus Capital Partners Ltd., was represented by John R. Robinson and Abby Cooper Zito of Jones Lang LaSalle.        

-Procter & Gamble RHD Inc. leased 2,407 square feet at 8900 Keystone Crossing. The tenant was represented by David Mennell of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, Philadelphia-based Equus Capital Partners Ltd., was represented by John R. Robinson and Abby Cooper Zito of Jones Lang LaSalle.

-Kessler Krest Baptist Church leased 2,200 square feet of industrial space at 5925-6021 W. 71st St. The tenant was represented by Yumi Prater of Colliers International. The landlord, GI Partners, was represented by Bryan Poynter and Russ Van Til of Cassidy Turley.

-Vein Clinics of America Inc. leased 2,190 square feet at 9000 Keystone Crossing.  The tenant was represented by Zane Brown of CBRE. The landlord, Philadelphia-based Equus Capital Partners Ltd., was represented by John R. Robinson and Abby Cooper Zito of Jones Lang LaSalle.

Truck crashes into Fishers home

March 27, 2013

A man said he believes he passed out before crashing his pickup truck through the side of a home near 146th Street and Allisonville Road in Fishers. Jerry Mooneyhan, 57, was traveling eastbound on 146th Street at about 4 a.m. Wednesday when he became dizzy and failed to complete the turn before ramming into a bedroom in the house. The only person in the home at the time was sleeping in another bedroom. The resident and Mooneyhan were uninjured.

Local trees fall victim to beetle

Hundreds of trees on the northeast side of Indianapolis will be removed over the next two months because of an emerald ash borer infestation. The metallic green beetle has destroyed more than 50 million ash trees since its discovery in the United States in 2002. The bug has been found in 59 Indiana counties. Almost 500 trees will be removed along Sargent Road between 96th Street and Fall Creek Road. Another 25 will be taken down along 91st Street near Allisonville Road.

-DialAmerica Marketing Inc. leased 24,012 square feet at 4030 Vincennes Road. The tenant was represented by Kevin Gillihan and Denice Michel of Jones Lang LaSalle. The landlord, Coastal Partners LLC, was represented by Tom Hadley and Matt Waggoner of Summit Realty Group.

-KBD Inc., dba Kitchens by Design, extended its lease and expanded to a total of 7,146 square feet of retail space in Nora Corners, 1530 E. 86th St. The tenant was represented by Brett Burch of Valenti Real Estate Services Inc.  The landlord, DLC Management Corp., represented itself.

-Mackenzie River Pizza leased 5,500 square feet at The Corner, 11600 Westfield Blvd., Carmel. The tenant was represented by Andrew Clifford of 7D Commercial Real Estate.  The landlord, Corner Associates LP., was represented by Blake Beaver of Kite Realty Group.  

-AECOM leased 4,947 square feet at 4030 Vincennes Road. The tenant was represented by Tim Craft of CBRE. The landlord, Coastal Partners LLC, was represented by Tom Hadley and Matt Waggoner of Summit Realty Group.

-Garrison Law Firm LLC leased 4,268 square feet at Castle Creek III, 8720 Castle Creek Parkway. The tenant was represented by Paul Dick of Colliers International. The landlord, Castle Creek Parkway LLC, was represented by Matt Langfeldt and Rich Forslund of Summit Realty Group.
