Beech Grove High School’s athletic director has been placed on administrative leave for allegedly kissing a student, school officials confirmed Tuesday morning. Kevin Stephenson was placed on leave May 10, school officials said. Beech Grove police said an 18-year-old student contacted investigators last week and told them Stephenson kissed her on the cheek inside an office. He was placed on leave the next day. Stephenson has been athletic director at the school for about five years. No criminal charges have been filed.
