Luggage found in retention pond

US Airways is struggling to explain how a checked bag ended up in a retention pond 24 miles southeast of the Indianapolis
International Airport. Passenger David Dever said he waited in baggage claim Sunday night until he could wait no more. He
took a taxi home, because his car keys were in the missing luggage. The next day, his bag was found in a retention pond at
the Sundance Apartments off Southport Road. Dever said a couple of children's gifts from his trip to New York City were
missing, as well as a pair of running shoes. Airport police and US Airways are investigating.

Missing boy found in own home

Searchers found a missing Indianapolis 8-year-old Tuesday morning hiding in a crawl space inside his home. Jaelen Parker was
last seen at 6 p.m. Monday walking away from his home in the 100 block of West Kansas Street after an argument with his mother.
Police and firefighters spent hours last night and again this morning canvassing the neighborhood, even interviewing registered
sexual offenders who live in the area. Fox59 will have more 4 p.m.

Housing

On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity fell 2.9 percent for the week ended April 23, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. The rate for 30-year mortgages increased to 5.08 percent from 5.04 percent the previous week.  The rate for 15-year mortgages increased to 4.38 percent from 4.34 percent.
