Indianapolis firefighters extricated a man and woman from a car at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday following a crash on Interstate 70 at the Rural Street and Keystone Avenue exit. The injured pair was hospitalized in stable condition after their vehicle was rear-ended. Two lanes of eastbound I-70 were closed after the wreck.

Three Whiteland Community High School students were hospitalized after a crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Tracy Road. Johnson County police said the crash involved multiple vehicles and happened right after school. A teenage boy was left in critical condition. Two girls, who are sisters, were listed in good condition.
