Two Arby’s employees said they were robbed by a man brandishing a butcher knife, about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in Carmel. One employee told officers she was outside the fast-food restaurant in the 1200 block of Rangeline Road when a man with a bandana over his face grabbed her and forced her back inside. A 59-year-old Indianapolis man was in critical condition following a hit-and-run incident Tuesday afternoon on the city’s near-north side. Michael Robertson was walking along the 1700 block of Sheldon Street when he was struck by a 1998 green Chevrolet Malibu containing two women. Witnesses said the driver was trying to hit another vehicle driven by a co-worker with a baseball bat right before she ran into Robertson. Police are seeking the car’s registered owner, Felicia Moss.

The trial began Monday with his attorney saying the 25-year-old was defending himself when he shot a drug dealer who wanted him to deliver cocaine to pay off a $225 debt. Jones, who spent two weeks in intensive care after the shooting, testified Monday that Dumes shot him while stealing his Chevrolet Camaro.
Police have received several reports of a man exposing himself to teenage girls and young women in Wayne Township.
