  1. Not a peep from Braun about the Trump requirements to keep expensive, outdated coal fired generators running at our expense to buy votes.

  2. Braun trying to keep consumer prices down while withered minds want to push climate hoaxes and anti-Trump narratives. Dems hate America. If you want high utilities and no oversight on energy, move to California or Washington or somewhere on the coasts where the narrative suits you. I’m not Braun’s biggest fan, but at least he’s keeping our budgeting conservative.

    1. He had three appointments to the board and he managed to appoint one person who ignored him and another who wouldn’t be able to vote. Braun should move on to retirement.

    2. There is definitely a withered mind in this comments section, but you’ll need a mirror to see which one

    3. when the CEOs and other executives of the power companies being kept open by Trump complain its costing their companies and therefore customers a small (or not so small) fortune, it’s not a liberal response to Trump. It’s a common sense business response to a very flawed and very transparent attempt by the MAGAt world to pander to coal interests at the expense of the rest of us. It’s not a climate hoax; it’s science. And therefore I can see why the MAGAt world is aghast…they don’t want science interfering with their childish beliefs.

    4. Timothy S. – as a proud MAGAt, please explain again the ironclad science that climate alarmists used 25 years ago promising the world would end in 20 years if we didn’t take radical action NOW. Please explain how over the last 5 years, there is still enough oxygen in the atmosphere to keep both of us alive? Hoping your progressive brilliance can enlighten us dim-witted MAGAts!

    5. Yeah, man. Gutting local budgets to pad his own pockets, flying around in a helicopter, and shifting more and more of the cost burden of public services to lower- and middle-class families is totally keeping consumer prices down. LOL

Under Braun’s leadership, we’ve seen both average core consumer price in Indiana spike for pretty much all goods, severe deterioration of public goods and services (increasing out-of-pocket costs for Hoosiers), thousands kicked off of healthcare, and destruction of schools.

Go find someone else to sell a bridge to. Nobody is buying your nonsense.

    6. David C. – Ah yes. The classic, “Well, we haven’t died, so it’s fine.”

Let’s just ignore the spiking energy usage, increased drought, flooding, destruction of entire towns, etc. etc.

Face it, all of those scientists were exactly right. We are facing severe food shortages in the coming years. And it’s because people like you stuck your head in the sand and demanded that people who studied climate for DECADES were wrong and that you, armchair YouTube “researcher,” knew better.

We need to make this abundantly clear – You are not smarter than climatologists. Period.

    7. Even if you don’t believe in climate change, would you rather cling to old technology or push forward and try to keep some of the new technology manufacturing – solar, wind, batteries – in the US? This administration talks big about not ceding to China but that’s exactly what they’re doing in this industry (and with electric vehicles).

    8. A.R. Ah yes, the classic “Climatologists have been wrong over and over again over many, many decades but let’s just keep swallowing everything they say as the gospel truth.”

    9. Even the patron saint of climate hoaxes, Greta Thunberg, has determined that Jew-hatred is more profitable.

  3. Seems to me there’s a balancing act at play and it’s tough to make consumers and the power companies who invest the money happy at the same time. With very old infrastructure everyone better hope the Utilites don’t bail

    1. Braun clearly had no idea how utility regulation works. They will indeed flee or allow their infrastructure to become unreliable if they can’t earn an acceptable return on billions of dollars in investment.
