I don’t know sentencing guidelines for white collar crime, but 33 months (which I assume will turn into 15 months) seems laughable for decades of systemic, high dollar theft. I am also darkly amused at the “journalists” reporting that the criminal “must” pay restitution. I’d fall down if they receive $100K from the criminal
A federal prison requires one to serve at least 85% of the sentence before being eligible for parole. Even so, it’s not enough for this big of a theft.
