That’s a good question, Jeff…so I’ll answer it: For one reason only: Because there is a “D” after the person’s name and the voter is too ignorant (or stupid) to know better than to vote for that person. (OOPS; I’m sorry; I overlooked your specifying that the person had “to be in their right mind….”)
