Indiana reports 20 more COVID-19 deaths, 734 new cases

Following are the latest COVID-19 numbers from the Indiana State Department of Health. The department updates its data daily based on information received through 11:59 p.m. the previous day.

The state on Tuesday reported an additional 20 deaths, the biggest single-day increase since June 27, when it reported a rise of 21.

Also on Tuesday, the state reported an increase in the cumulative number of cases of 710, its eighth straight day of reporting more than 600 additional cases. The state has seen an increase of 5,231 cases over the past week, an average of 747 per day. Indiana cases increased by 4,059 the previous week, or 580 per day.
