Hopefully these folks didn’t have to experience any of the streets in the city and Marion County. It is a gigantic embarrassmet for all of us. I do not know who is responsible but if they hold public office they have no business in that job. It is so bad now that you can’t take your eyes off the road for even a second for fear of being swallowed up. It is a true public safety issue at this point.
Life is so much better when you aren’t a slave to your automobile. My family had a blast walking from our home to many of the events downtown, using the fantastic Cultural Trail for most of the journey. The Final Four has been a resounding success with many saying Indy should be the ONLY city to host it going forward. No city hosts major events like our great city does.
I wish Indy would think of other ways to safety block the streets besides large DPW trucks. They are unsightly and more annoyingly, the drivers let the trucks idle the entire time. Really, why were the trucks idling all night near the Ferris Wheel on Penn. St.?
