  1. Good. I fervently hope that Nippon and US Steel win. Biden’s decision was utterly idiotic: a great US ally wants to invest $15B in a failing US company and Biden blocks the deal on specious national security grounds. Biden has never been known for his intellect, to say the least. But, come on man!

  2. Agreed. Biden could have kicked it down the road a few weeks, and let Trump do it. Or see if Trump upheld his promise to the steel workers or backed the bankers and other finance folks who stand to make a bunch of money off this deal…
