  1. I’m going to sit back and watch how all of this plays out. I understand why some republicans didn’t want to vote to redraw the maps in Indiana but it also showed sings of weakness as democrats continue their push to redraw maps in states like Virginia and Maryland etc….

    1. Kevin, do you have any idea why democrates are pushing to redraw their maps? Because republicans started this process in Texas. You may be fine with cheating to win elections, I”m not, but if the GOP is going to do this dems don’t really have any choice.

    2. They’re gerrymandered the maps for a 7-2 congressional advantage that far outweighs the percentage of voters they get AND already dilutes the voice of Indianapolis-area voters. Also, at the state level, they’ve given themselves a map that allows for a supermajority and for them to conduct most business in private legislative caucus instead of on the floor.

      And that’s “weakness”?

      Maybe it’s just they know what a good hand they’ve dealt themselves and don’t want to overplay it and cost themselves everything.

  2. Hoosiers need to push to become a referendum state so we, as citizens, can directly vote on items such as this to remove the outside influences at work in the great State of Indiana.
