  1. This is a strange little puff piece. I think the big news about this bill is the drastic cuts in healthcare. I’m pretty sure that we’re going to see lots of Hoosiers lose health coverage. I’m also pretty sure that we will see more rural hospitals close. We will see struggles at the state level because the loss of federal dollars and as a result state taxes will have to go up. At the same time Republicans are continuing tax breaks for rich corporations, and million and billionaires.

  2. The hypocrisy of the fossil fuel industry telling the clean energy sector that if they can’t survive without subsidies, they should die, is stunning but not at all surprising. This is the same industry that has taken every available action to smother the scientific consensus first established as early as the 50’s and lobbied the Republican party specifically so hard that they and their followers have come to see it as fanatical. Folks better get used to a world beyond 3C warming at this rate. News flash, it’s a world we won’t survive in and it’s coming whether you “believe” in it or not.
