We are told we can’t pay for infrastructure, public schools, food, public transportation, libraries, or to make our lived environment (water and air – which Indiana is consistently rated poorly on) – but we can cut taxes further to speed up the decline………at least these tax breaks will not benefit the wealthy as most tax cuts in this state favor……..
It’s truly horrifying that they are working to encourage more overtime and tipped-wage work. These aren’t good things for employees, and it hurts the state to encourage companies to use those compensation polices.
Overtime pay rates are meant to be a deterrent on employers for over working employees .
This is like vanity plates for tax policy, serves no real purpose.
Can they eliminate taxes on my 401K withdrawals as well? 😉
