  1. Lol what a bunch of hypocrites. When Democrats are in charge, the debt ceiling is something that can’t possibly be raised because it wouldn’t be fiscally prudent.

When Republicans are in charge, they need to raise the debt ceiling four years in advance because of their plans to blow up the deficit.

    1. It’s been clear for two decades that Republicans only care about deficits when there is a Democratic president. I can’t believe that anyone still thinks of the Republicans Party as “fiscally conservative”.

    1. *Whispers*

“Because they know that the domestic spending cuts can’t make up for the revenue losses that they’re proposing.”

    2. I think there is a realization that cutting a significant portion economic spending is going to tank the economy and after promising everything to everybody, not much is really going to happen.

Republicans want the debt ceiling raised now so that they can go onto Faux News and shout that the Democrats raised the debt ceiling. Republicans also want it raised so it won’t have to be raised again for 5 years, so they can say, “see we didn’t raise the debt ceiling”. With the huge tax breaks for the rich, I think that is just delusional thinking, but it sells well on Faux News right now.

It’s sad so few people remember the chaos monkeys Trump unleashed from 2016 to 2020. They’re Back!

  2. Our government is broken and Trump has destroyed the GOP. For years the GOP house has been dysfunctional and hasn’t passed any meaningful bills. When you elect a clown 🤡 (Trump) expect a circus.

There was 4 years of chaos during Trumps first 4 years and there will be 4 more years.

Trump should’ve been disqualified for 1/6 and stealing classified docs. Nikki Haley was the best choice, but until you get rid of the extreme MAGA congress and crowd the government will burn down.
