What this article neglects to point out is that Trump’s riches were made possible by a conservative majority on the Supreme Court that granted him immunity for actions that were formerly deemed illegal.
You must be new to our country!! If you’re here legally, welcome!! Trump was a billionaire before he became President. The only prosecution that seems to have had legs was ridiculous in that it alleged that Trump inflated asset values to get loans, which were paid back. In our country, no financial institution loans money on the applicant’s asset valuation. Again, welcome to America!
Trump’s corrupt acts to make this much money in less than two years in his second term are well documented. I’d recommend the episode of Plain English podcast where the hosts do a snake draft of Trump’s most corrupt acts so far. They had a lot to choose from, and his crypto scheme featured heavily. We know that his loyal cultists like John won’t ever care because they’re the sheep they claim to hate so much, but boy I can’t wait for the investigations and impeachments starting in November when Dems take back the House AND the Senate

Keith, I think corruption is always worth investigating and bringing to light. Impeachment is truly the only recourse against a corrupt president given their total immunity from criminal prosecution. Like I said, the corruption is already well-documented at a surface level and the American people deserve to know more about how their president and his family are $2B in a year and a half. Questions I would like to see answered:
1. Did Trump’s pardon of the Binance CEO come as a result of any discussions about Trump’s crypto firm World Liberty Financial?
2. Have companies in which the Trump family sits on the board or otherwise invest in been given any no-bid contracts? We know they’ve been given govt contracts, the drone company Unusual Machines that Trump Jr is an advisor for. Were there any other bidders if they were not no-bid?
3. Trump says he asked for the Qatari jet. Was there any suggestion or follow through on a quid pro quo?
You say you want Congress to do its job and legislate in other comments. I agree. Congress’s other job is oversight, and they should get back to making that a core function regardless of who the president is. If a Democrat was doing all of this, I’d be saying the same exact thing.

As you laid it out, I have no problem with an investigation.
My rub was the political revenge factor being the sole factor for a witch hunt.
The political witch hunt was prevalent during and after Trumps first term. People saw the unfairness in that.
Trump is also conducting political witch hunts. That is not acceptable either.
Oh John….Trumpo’s “billionaire” status pre-2016 is highly questioned….he never released his tax returns, which would’ve confirmed or denied all such claims. He promised to put his asset sin a blind trust, which he did not do. Grifting is his family’s stock-in-trade.

Losses on real estate value and business income can be carried over for seven years.
