  1. A “deal” that allows Iran the right to construct a tollbooth on the Strait of Hormuz?

Did he get confused and think that he could out-do Obama by negotiating a deal that’s far worse that his proclaimed “worst deal ever”?

  2. As they say; the devil will be in the details which have not been released, as usual for Trump. He likes to make big statements and provide little in substance so as to not get boxed in, again.

    1. I’ve seen some analysis of the MOU now that it has been released. The outlines are just terrible of us. Not that Trump left us with much choice.

    1. Trumps deal with Iran is no worse than any previous administrations efforts to deal with Iran. Iran thumbed its nose at every previous administrations efforts to rein them in. Iran has been a huge force for exporting terror. They’ve supported, financed, and offered technical assistance to Hamas, Hezbollah, Hutti’s and other revelutionary groups.

Iran will NOT be allowed to charge tolls.

Iran now knows there is an American President NOT afraid to use force.

No October 7th, none of this other would have happened.

Is this peace plan perfect?? Not by any stretch of the imagination. But nothing else previous has worked either.

    2. Keith’s ability to bend himself into a pretzel to toe the party line is always impressive. Curious on your thoughts, Keith, about how we’ll prevent Iran from charging tolls? Another blockade? More bombs? The answer is, we can’t do a thing to stop it, now that we’ve given them the idea. At any point of their choosing in the future, they have the leverage to completely stop the flow of oil out of the region. They don’t care if we bomb their cities or destroy their navy, bases, whatever. All they need is a few speedboats and some mines. Plus, they’ll have 300B plus in new funds and lifted sanctions to rebuild everything we destroyed. Unlike past administrations, this one wasn’t able to eke out a single commitment in regards to enrichment or pursuing a nuclear weapon.

I know this is hard for you to hear and your cognitive dissonance is so deep-rooted that you’ll never believe it anyway, but this is the worst foreign policy negotiation in our country’s 250 year history.

I hope the families of the 13 American’s lost in this farce seek compensation for their tragic losses.

    3. I’m bored with Keith and other Republican BSers. They kicked and screamed about Obama releasing $1 billion in sanctioned dollars, but will literally hate crates of money over to Iran to the tune of $300 billion while having a weaker deal than Obama had.

Then, people like Keith will have the audacity to insist that we “can’t afford” the basic necessities and public services that other countries have. Why? Well, because the wealthy need a bigger handout. We need more wars (that Keith and other Republicans like Keith lied about), need more tax breaks for the 1% and megacorporations.

Keith, you’re full of crap, and so is the rest of the Republican Party.

    4. Keith, given that Trump tore up the deal during his first term, how can you not consider that the deal going away could’ve led to October 7th?

Here’s the reality – Trump is simply out of his depth as a world leader. Maybe that “swamp” of expertise and people skilled in governance shouldn’t have been drained and refilled with lackies and boot lickers.

It will take the lifetime of our grandchildren to undo the damage done to the United States by Trump.

    5. Micheal and A.R.,

Iran has thumbed its nose at every previous agreement or overture from every previous administration. So I don’t hold out much hope for this so called deal either.

I had no problem with Obama releasing the money to Iran. It was their money. Money that we had frozen.

The Iranians completely broke the rules under the Obama Administration. What part of that do you NOT get???? The Obama deal also had a sunset clause. The Iranians were making weapons grade uranium. Anyone that does NOT believe that has their head in the sand.
Also, Every American President has kicked the can down the road.
I NEVER said the Trump plan was great. Not by any stretch of the imagination. So you can bring your TDS syndrome dander down a notch. I said Trump is not afraid to use force if needed.

Also, I do not tow a party line.
I also do not suffer from TDS like a child the way so many leftist do. That said, I DISAGREE with Trump & the Republicans on many things just as I disagree with the Dems on so many of their nit wit knucklehead nonsense.

    6. Other than Trump claiming they did, there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Iran broke the deal. None. There’s also no evidence that they were “close” to developing a nuclear weapon. None whatsoever.

It was all made up and you bought it.

And LOL at you “not towing party lines” and “TDS.” All Republicans are the same. Zero original thought, just regurgitating Fox News talking points that have been spoon-fed to you all.

    7. Here’s the long and short version of the story:

Trump is a longtime seething racist who is obsessed with Obama. A Black man achieving more than him was unconscionable to Trump. That’s why we never got a real reason for killing the Iran deal, because the only real reason was Trump’s ego and racism.

      The end.
