  1. Banks is the sort of Republican who just can’t wait to turn America into a Christian version of Iran with himself on the Guardian Council.

  2. Banks only represents himself and Trump, he does not care about hoosiers. He is a poster child for the campaign to end the option to elect everyone from the same party with one pull of the voting machine lever. Banks totally rode Trump’s coattails in and hopefull he will ride them out when Trump leaves office.

  3. SEN. JIM BANKS IS TRUMP’S PERSONAL SENATOR ! He is aTRUMP sycophant ! I have sent dozens of E-Mail messages on many subjects to Sen. Banks Office . NO response at all From Sen Banks or any of his staff . Now we know he is one of TRUMP’s DARK money manager sic-em attack dogs .

  4. I have sent messsage as well with no response. The guy is an embarrassment to our state. But, lets face it. He got elected by Hoosiers, just like Trump. In the end those who put him in need to get him out.

  5. Agreed. Banks should be voted out ASAP. The re-district issue should never have arisen excpt DJT is afraid of that these mid terms will show === all are tired of his crap. Banks is a fool to support this effort and then work against good Hoosier elected officials who did right in avoiding the change. They followed what most Hoosiers wanted, to have the national scene not change oor state.

  6. Unfortunately, our elected officials
( both Dem and Republican ) are more beholden to the national party leaders than to the constituents in their districts.
    This is a national problem.

    1. We the voters bear most of the blame for this. We love red meat politics, especially during the primaries. If voters wanted moderates, regardless of how they respond to polling, they would elect moderates.

    2. Michael N., the reason we don’t vote for moderates is because the system is controlled by the two political parties, which protect it’s incumbents and discourages competition in the primaries. In the last mid-term election (2022) less than 40% of Indiana’s registered voters cast ballots in the general election. It is a clear sign that a majority of voters did not like the candidates listed on the ballots.

    3. No, Brent, the reason we don’t vote for moderates is because our lizard brains like fighters and partisanship. We just pretend otherwise when things go poorly.

  7. One of the nice things about the bubble Banks is living in, is that he seems to oblivious to how toxic the Trump brand seems to becoming.

I suspect that gas prices are going to blow right past the $5/gal mark and we’ll be lucky if they top out at $6/gal. Diesel has a different calculus and a lot of that is imported to the US and I wouldn’t be surprised if it tops out at $8/gal.

  8. Dear traitorous Dummycrats, Indiana should, like other “red” states, redistrict out any satanic Dems they can!! The foolish ones were the ones who thought they were “above the fray”…yeah, look at Virginia, California, etc. Illinois, the head of snake, is one of the worst gerrymandered states in the Union! Gerrymandering has been around forever and will be with us forever! It will still roughly respect the overall views of the country. But its time to put the boot on the neck of the enemy!

    1. John, take your meds and quit listening to WIBC and quit watching the FOX News channel. And come back up from your basesment.

  9. I really admire the legislators that stood their ground and voted the way their constituency wanted instead of being a Republican robot. The national Republican machine did not elect them.
