The 2,600-square-foot store is just the third for Olean, NY-based Cutco, which has other locations in Erie, Pa. and Okemos, Mich. The company is expanding its retail footprint to introduce an expanded product line and reconnect with existing customers. The shop at 8830 U.S. 31 South is scheduled to open April 8. The Chapel Hill, N.C.-based chain has more than 100 locations and aims to be a "friendly one-stop shop for all levels of cyclists."
  • Sensu, a huge new Asian-fusion restaurant, sushi bar and nightclub, has opened in the former home of Have A Nice Day Cafe. The 16,500-square-foot restaurant at 225 S. • Avec Moi, a carryout comfort-food restaurant, is slated to open in May at the corner of 62nd Street and College Avenue. The space in the 1928 building at 701 E. 62nd St. formerly was home to a massage center. Specialties of owner Kris Parmelee include turkey meatloaf, ribs, butternut squash lasagna and sugar cookies.
