-Kort Builders has completed a 1,400-square-foot office at 6845 Bluff Road, Suite 26, for Christie Vision Care.

-Kort Builders has completed a 1,600-square-foot retail space for Solar Nail Salon in Nora Plaza, 1340 E. 86th Street, Suite 54.

-Kort Builders has started construction of a 4,000-square-foot retail space at 13971 Hamilton Town Center Blvd., Noblesville, that will house a Rue 21 retail store. The client is Simon Property Group.

-Alt Construction has completed a 7,800-square-foot industrial/office build-out for Universal Blower Pac
Inc. at 440 Park 32, West Drive, Noblesville.

-Charles C. Brandt Construction Co. is remodeling the 6,500-square-foot
office of Gared Sports at 9200 E. 146th St., Noblesville. Gared is open during the project, which is scheduled to be completed
Feb. 26.

-Alt Construction has completed a 1,600-square-foot build-out for The Game Preserve at Fashion Mall Commons,
8487 Union Chapel Road.
 
 

City of Greenwood might fund launch of insulin maker

January 28, 2010

Greenwood-based Zimmerman Biotechnologies LLC hopes to become the first company in the United States to make generic insulin,
a long-awaited development in diabetes treatment. The Greenwood Common Council on Feb. 1 will consider an $8.4 million deal
that would finance construction of an insulin factory, as well as help Zimmerman with FDA-approval and equipment expenses.

-Phoenix Resource Management Inc. leased 9,160 square feet of office flex space in South Park Business Center, 164 South Park Blvd., Greenwood. The tenant was represented by Rick Suja of Summit Realty. The landlord, South Park Group LLC, was represented by Mark Dietel of Royal Companies Inc.

-Recognition Services Inc. leased 5,400 square feet at 8577-8579 Zionsville Road. The tenant was represented by Matt Jackson of Halakar Real Estate. The landlord, Prologis, represented itself.
