Indianapolis police are investigating the apparent shooting death of a man found Sunday night in the 2300 block of North Kenwood Avenue. Emergency crews arrived a short time later and pronounced the victim dead. An autopsy will be performed Monday to determine the exact cause of death.

Law enforcement officials in Tippecanoe and Boone counties are searching for three suspects in a robbery and attempted robbery early Monday morning. Lafayette police reported that three black men entered a Speedway Gas Station at 4325 State Road 26 East just after 2 a.m. and showed the clerk a gun. They took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. About an hour later, thieves matching the same description attempted to rob a Circle K on State Road 334 in Whitestown, but were unable to leave with money, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. The suspects were seen leaving both locations driving a black, two-door Pontiac Grand Am with custom wheels.
Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health confirmed Monday that it was trying to eliminate bed bugs at the downtown facility. “An incidence of bed bugs was recently discovered,” according to a statement from IU Health. “To ensure the safety of our patients and families, we work closely with our infection control and environmental services departments to ensure the incident is isolated and dealt with in a timely manner." Fox59 has received photos of bed-bug bites from a man who claims his family has been dealing with the problem for more than two weeks while his newborn daughter stays at the hospital. The family said that hospital staff recently moved them to a new room.

Noblesville police confirmed they found human remains near the Mississinewa River in Grant County on Thursday, but haven’t confirmed whether the remains belong to missing Hamilton County grandmother Dorothy Heard, 74. The Grant County coroner arrived at the scene Friday morning and will identify the remains if possible. Heard was last seen June 13. Her 47-year-old nephew, Donald Burns, is a suspect in her disappearance. Family members say they believe the remains are Heard’s.
A fatal accident involving a semi, a pickup truck and a car closed westbound Interstate 865 in Boone County for almost four hours Friday morning. A passenger in the car died at the scene of the 6 a.m. accident. The car’s driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. The drivers of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.
