A driver who may have been drunk is in police custody after he crashed his car into an Indianapolis police officer. The officer was driving in the eastbound lanes of Kessler Boulevard near Fox Hill Drive about 1 a.m. Wednesday when the other driver, heading west on Kessler, crossed the center line, struck the officer’s car, then crashed into a utility pole.
