teens are expected to be involved in community service projects throughout the weekend.

Car smashes into repair shop

February 26, 2010

A Muncie man survived a close call with an out-of-control car at an auto repair shop on Thursday afternoon. According to police,
the car collided with another vehicle and then careened into Earl’s Auto Repair in Muncie, smashing through a wall.
A mechanic was temporarily pinned by the vehicle and later was taken to a hospital with a few broken ribs, according to the
shop owner.

Convention center tours part of larger tourism strategy

Executives of Gen Con, one of the city's largest conventions, visited Indianapolis last week to get their first glance
of the construction of the Indiana Convention Center expansion. Local tourism officials are using such tours to market the
larger space.

Bomb-threat suspect found dead

February 26, 2010

A man suspected of issuing a bomb threat at Union Hospital in Terre Haute on Saturday has been found dead. Terre Haute police
say the body of 40-year-old Michael Miller was found in a wooded area north of the city on Thursday, and that he matches the
description of a man who demanded methadone at Union Hospital on Saturday. The suspect left a red bag at the hospital pharmacy
window, saying it contained a bomb. Authorities are awaiting an autopsy. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
