The Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force arrested four people Wednesday and dismantled a suspected methamphetamine manufacturing operation in Fishers. Officials recovered manufacturing equipment, firearms and surveillance equipment as well as some of the drug. Timothy Phipps, 36; Kristine Curtner, 43; Misty Knutson, 37; and David Knutson, 37, face charges.
Authorities are searching for a police impersonator who robbed a dancer on her way home from a west-side Indianapolis strip club Thursday morning. The woman, who accepted a ride from the man after she got off work, said the suspect propositioned her for sex. After she declined, the man showed her a badge and told her he’d arrest her if she didn’t give him all her money. The man got away with about $160.
