My taxes keep going up so I have no sympathy for bloated government! If local officials can’t cut funding to match income, get someone in office who can!

That said, if you didn’t factor rising home prices (and the increase in property tax values) as part of your financial planning, I’d recommend firing your financial planner and/or downsizing.
