Human resources consulting firm HRD Advisory Group LLC plans to expand its Carmel headquarters, adding 25 employees by the end of 2019, the company announced Tuesday night.

HRD was formed last year when HR Dimensions, a local firm founded in 1996, merged with Chicago-based WIA Group. The merger allowed the local firm to increase its services to include retirement plans, employee benefits, wealth management, executive-compensation plans, and property and casualty insurance.

HRD said it plans to spend nearly $495,000 on new technology equipment for its 5,000-square-foot office, allowing it to expand its client base. The four-employee firm has begun hiring client-service representatives and consultants.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it offered HRD up to $250,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company’s job-creation plans.
